CAL-STEAM was founded in 1935 and has operated for over seventy years. During the past twenty-five years, the company has grown from a single location in San Francisco to 12 locations throughout Northern California. Most recently, CAL-STEAM opened its twelfth location to serve customer needs in the Vacaville/Fairfield area. Its combined covered warehouse capacity of over 300,000 sq. ft. gives CAL-STEAM the largest inventory of plumbing and mechanical products in the Bay Area.
CAL-STEAM has been carefully designed to better serve our customers with:- A COMPLETE PLUMBING AND MECHANICAL INVENTORY. All branches have a complete inventory and operate with a 98-100% fill rate. All branches receive daily replenishments from our 160,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Hayward.
- OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Our employees are experienced professionals and take pride in servicing you quickly and efficiently. We offer same-day delivery service.
- TWELVE LOCATIONS STRATEGICALLY LOCATED THROUGHOUT NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. These place our employees, Will-Call counters, inventory, and trucks in close proximity to your shop and jobsites. All branches are open 6:30am to 5:00pm.
- VACAVILLE LOCATION. With our newest location, CAL-STEAM is now able to locally serve our customers' needs in the Greater Vacaville/Fairfield Area.
- QUOTATIONS DEPARTMENT. Our professional Quotations Department offers expertise in estimation services and has the capacity to stage jobs providing "just in time" job deliveries.
